Pharmacological properties Ketoconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent, affecting the cell membrane of the fungus by changing its permeability. Fungal strains do not have natural resistance to ketoconazole. Clobetazole Propionate is a corticosteroid hormone that acts as a highly effective anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic agent with minimal side effects. Neomycin sulfate is an effective remedy against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Indications for use Intrizol cream is prescribed for the treatment of skin fungal infections, such as mycosis of the hands, epidermophytia (mycosis) of the feet, trichophytia of smooth skin, multicolored lichen, eczema and itching.
Method of administration and dosage Intrizol for external use. Apply a thin layer on the affected areas of the skin 2 times a day. In the treatment of ordinary smooth skin trichophytia and perineal trichophytia, the recommended course of treatment is 2 weeks, and in the treatment of epidermophytia of the feet and palms 4 weeks.
Side effects Usually the drug is well tolerated. During treatment, burning or irritation may occur at the site of application of the cream, however, this usually does not require discontinuation of the drug.
