Pharmacological properties
Acne gel has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, sebostatic and resorbing effects. The biological components of the gel penetrate into the sebaceous glands, effectively prevent an increase in greasiness and inflammation (with increased sebum production, microbes actively develop in the sebaceous gland, causing its inflammation), contribute to the elimination of acne or pimples. At the same time, inflammatory nodules on the skin turn pale, decrease in size and resolve faster. In addition, it is effective for acne complicated by demodex (skin mite), because contains sulfur, which is an active anti-demodicose agent. The drug is practically not absorbed into the systemic circulation. Acne gel contains Azadirachta indica and Ocimum tenuiflorum, which are widely known antibacterial medicinal plants. These plants disinfect the damaged part of the skin and heal it. Aloe barbadensis, Centella asiatica, Rubia cordifolia have anti-inflammatory properties. Aloe barbadensis has a soothing effect and prevents the formation of scars. Azadirachta indica and Rubia cordifolia have astringent properties.
